cognitive science course and projects

general information

Description: CS 6795 is a 3-credit graduate introductory course on Cognitive Science. Cognitive Science is an interdisciplinary study of mind and intelligence. It lies at the intersection of computer science (specially artificial intelligence), psychology, linguistics, biology (specially neurobiology), anthropology and philosophy. We will follow the model of an "inverted classroom." Thus, there will be few, if any, lectures; students will do all their readings outside the classroom; class time will be used for student presentations, questions and answers, exercises and experiments, and lots of discussions.
